1. Who is involved?
This document regulates the business relationship between 
Carlos Gavinaand you as a customer.
2. How is a purchase contract concluded?
The artworks shown on the website are for informational purposes only and are not a binding offer to sell. You can show interest in buying, but this does not obligate you. You will receive an email confirming that we received your interest, but this doesn’t mean we have accepted your offer. If the artwork is available, we will send you an offer by email. The purchase contract is complete once you accept this offer by email.
3. How much does it cost?
The prices are final. Since Carlos Gavina follows small business regulations, no sales tax is charged. Shipping costs may be added to the price, depending on the weight and shipping method, and will be mentioned in the offer. Once the goods are handed over to the delivery service or to you, you are responsible for any damage or loss.
4. How is payment made?
Payment is made in advance. Delivery will happen after the payment is received. You will get an invoice for the total amount. If payment is not made within 14 days after the contract is finalized, Carlos Gavina can cancel the contract.
5. Who owns the goods?
The goods remain the property of Carlos Gavina until full payment is made. You cannot transfer or use the goods as collateral without written permission.
6. What if something is wrong?
You should inspect the goods immediately after receiving them. If you find a defect, you must report it in writing within 14 working days. Defects caused by shipping, improper handling, alterations to the goods, or natural wear are not covered. You must prove that the defect existed at the time of delivery. Small differences in quality, color, size, print, or design that cannot be avoided are not considered defects. Carlos Gavina has the right to make multiple repairs or send replacements.
7. What if I change my mind?
You have the right to cancel the contract within 14 days of receiving the goods without giving a reason. The goods must be properly packaged and returned. This right does not apply to items made to your specifications or that cannot be returned.
8. What happens to my data?
Your data will be kept confidential and will not be shared with third parties.
9. Other:
If you are a merchant or do not live in Portugal, the place of jurisdiction is Matosinhos. Any changes to this contract must be in writing. If any part of this contract is invalid, the rest will still apply. The invalid part will be replaced by a clause that closely matches the intended economic purpose.
